Criminal networks are increasingly involved in TBML according to the European Financial and Economic Crime Threat Assessment, which goes beyond the case studies and descriptions of TBML typologies routinely discussed in reports on the subject by examining the contexts in which trade is employed as an integral part of criminal activities.
