The EU has imposed a number of new restrictive measures on trade between member states and Russia, notably introducing tougher restrictions on Russia’s lucrative diamond exports while also targeting liquefied petroleum gas (LPG), metal goods, and iron and steel products.

The EU’s 12th sanctions package against Russia also tightens enforcement of the G7 price caps for Russian crude oil and refined products.
